HEALTH AND NUTRITION
The Challenge
Malawi faces significant public health challenges that prevent communities from reaching their full potential. High rates of maternal and child mortality, chronic malnutrition, and the ongoing burden of diseases like HIV/AIDS undermine the well-being of families. Access to quality healthcare, particularly for women, adolescents, and children in rural and hard-to-reach areas, is often limited, creating barriers to essential and life-saving services
OSSEDI's Strategic Response
Our strategy is to bring essential health and nutrition services closer to the communities that need those most. OSSEDI Malawi focus on empowering women, youth, and community leaders with critical health knowledge, strengthening community health systems, and ensuring access to care in areas like maternal health, child nutrition, and HIV/AIDS prevention. By promoting preventative care and health-seeking behaviors, OSSEDI Malawi aim to build healthier, more resilient communities.
